I'm trying to import a csv list but constantly get "Error: CSV error at line 0: Can't find email header" on the upload queue page.
I've tried various formats to see if it helps (it would be nice to have an example to save having to go through permutations). e.g.
test@marytest.co.uk,Mary
---
Mary,test@marytest.co.uk
---
"Mary","test@marytest.co.uk"
---
"test@marytest.co.uk","Mary"
---
"Email","Name"
"test@marytest.co.uk","Mary"
---
"Name","Email"
"Mary","test@marytest.co.uk"
---
Doesn't make any difference. I tried Firefox and IE too.
Thanks for your help.
Andy

I went to the old version of the site, where there is an example, and it seems to work OK.

Hi Andy,
I wanted to check back in and see if you were able to upload the list using the new site. Like Kane said above, there was an issue with the import code that was identified and fixed. Importing from the new site should be working at this time. -

Yes, thanks. I did it on the old site. I found it a bit confusing to navigate on my sites but everything worked fine in the end.

Im having the same problem, although it's not telling me an error, just not uploading any contacts. I have never used the 'old site', so not really an option for us.

Hi Nelson,
I believe you had created your own post which I had responded to. Please feel free to let me know if those instructions did not work for you. To reiterate for those who might not have seen you post but are looking at this one currently I'll repost what I had explained to you:
Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having troubles with the Newsletter. Are you using the old Newsletter or the Beta Newsletter. I would highly recommend using the new Newsletter Beta.
I attempted to upload my own CSV file for my recipient list. To do this I created a .txt file, I then created the file as follows:
Name1, name1@email.com
Name2, name2@email.com
I had some trouble uploading just the .txt file and had to replace the file extension .txt to .csv. Once I did that I was able to upload my file.
You can also upload this via Excel, just when you save the document go to Save as, Other Format, and save it as a CSV file. In my excel file I set the first column to hold the names, the second column I set for the email addresses.
I hope this clarifies your issue. Please stay in touch and let me know how this works out and what other issues you run into.
Thanks for your time.

I'm trying to upload my CSV and nothing is happening. It says it has finished uploading, yet it hasn't uploaded any contacts at all.
It's very important I send this newsletter out today.-
Hello Dean,
Are you using the Newsletter Beta or the old Newsletter. Did you follow the directions I posted above and the CSV isn't loading? You can alway manually add these individuals to the Newsletter list. I understand that this method can be a pain, which is why we offer the ability to upload a CSV list. I mentioned adding a CSV list via a .txt file or excel, what method are you trying to use?

Thanks for getting back to me Ryan. Yes, indeed the beta version worked. You folks should push that into production :) Thanks again.

I'm glad this helped you Nelson, we are going to push this into production there are just a few bugs we are working out before we do so.
