Global Unsubscribe - Newsletter

If someone is a subscriber of one of more than one of your newsletter lists in SendGrid and receives an e-mail from you and unsubscribes, they are only unsubscribed from one of the lists they are in not all of them. I think they should be put in the global unsubscribe list, so they don't receive any further messages from you, so you don't risk violating can-spam.

In addition I tried turning on the app "Subscription Tracking", however it appears that app doesn't apply to Newsletters.

There's no such thing as a global subscribe, so why should there be a global unsubscribe?

If someone unsubscribes, he usually wants to unsubscribe from a certain list. It's up to you to offer him the chance to unsubscribe from all lists, but this is a specific situation that calls for specific handling (or coding).

As an app itself, the Newsletter App does not have the Subscription Tracking app footer applied, it has it's on unsubscribe option.
However, the default wording & landing page are affected by the Subscription Tracking app, so you can set those up. Note that if you "clone" a Newsletter, updated default wording will not apply, the settings from the clone parent will.

We're working on providing recipients an initial landing page that lets them select particular Recipient Lists to be unsubscribed from, or to be added to the Global Unsubscribe.
