It would be great if you could elaborate a little on how bounces are handled. I know that you record them, but how do they affect attempts to send e-mails to the same address again? What if we remove the bounce record? What if a delivery fails due to a temporary error?
And so on. This is not very clear in your documentation, and we need to be very certain about this.

Great questions. Let me provide some details about how SendGrid protects your sender reputation and delivery by managing your bounce addresses.
If an address hard bounces SendGrid adds the address to your bounce list and drops all future requests to the known bounced address. If the address returns a soft bounce SendGrid will retry sending until the message expires (typically 72hrs) and then adds it to the bounce list. If you have an address or domain that should never be dropped or added to the bounce list you can use our “Address Whitelist App” and add domains or addresses that should never be dropped. -

I'm finding that the current way the bounce list works is too aggresive, as many of our users have mailboxes on somewhat unreliable servers. As I understand it, it only takes one email to be undelivered and the email address goes to the bounce list, correct?
It would be great if we could configure the threshold - like % of messages over x days.
I wonder if we lost all our users in Egypt? -

We have users with unreliable servers, and we don't send them any email after the one day their email bounced.
Do I need to clean up the bounce list daily to be sure that our customers are not missing any email?
Can you put an option to drop any email sent to an address of the bounce list?

Agreed. We need to be able to set the number of bounces. Also, from what I understand "soft" versus "hard" are based on very fuzzy logic.
In my logs I often see emails mis-tagged. -
