One email, 7 spam reports

On December 23rd, I sent an email to the freebsd-security-notifications mailing list; this is a moderated list which goes out to many (tens of thousands) people. As FreeBSD Security Officer, I'm literally the only person who posts to that list, and whatever I send there is by definition on-topic. Of the many recipients, 7 people reported the email as spam, with the result that my reputation score is now around somewhere around 60%.

There's three problems here, two of which I doubt you can do anything about:
1. It really wasn't spam, even though it got reported as such. If people didn't want to receive that email, they shouldn't have subscribed to the mailing list. (But know you can't look at each spam report to see if it's sane.)
2. The false-report rate was actually 7 out of tens of thousands, but I'm not being credited for the tens of thousands of people who didn't report it as spam. (But you don't have any way to know how many people a public mailing list bounces an email to.)
3. I got penalized 7 times for the same message! This you can definitely do something about.

So please use "number of emails which were reported as spam" rather than "number of spam reports received" in computing the reputation score.
