Greetings,
We've noticed that clicks and opens can be recorded for a period of time even after the email has been sent. Thus if an email is sent on "monday", and opened on "tuesday", the open/clicks are recorded for tuesday.
Is there a way that we can have the opens/clicks recorded for the date the email has been sent?
The reason for this is if, we use A|B testing on the emails, then we are not sure exactly what email template A or B is being used. Also, this disrupts our understanding of our email situation. If emails "sent" drops one day, we are not sure if the effect is recent or not, since it is being "assisted" by opens/clicks from emails the previous days.
Thank you,

Hi Daniel,
We're in the process of developing a more robust logging mechanism that will solve this problem as well as provide more detailed information pertaining to individual emails and deliverability. I will provide updates here as development progresses.

Using our Event API in conjunction with unique_args would give you exactly what you're looking for.
With unique_args, you can attach any identifier you want, including campaign, split version, list used, etc etc.
Event API in general will allow you to do some really cool things, like automate list management, and set up very granular statistics. In conjunction with Unique_args, you can define any parameter you want. -
